Locally Owned

District Coffee is a locally owned cafe in the heart of Nashville’s Design District. We founded District Coffee out of a desire for a comfortable work space and high quality coffee in a growing industry center. We are proud to offer excellent coffee, tea, food, and—most importantly—great service.

When you visit District Coffee, you’ll find carefully sourced local products, ample seating, WiFi, as well as a conference room for small gatherings. Whether you are on the run during a busy day, or you plan to stay with us awhile—we look forward to welcoming you to District Coffee!

The Proverbial Cup roasts out of Nolensville, TN and provides us the highest quality espresso beans in town. Drink it straight up, add some milk or flavors - let us know how to customize any drink to your preference!

OUR LOGO

A symbol of our New Zealand heritage

The ancient New Zealand symbol, Pikorua, refers to an eternal bond and symbolizes the strength of friendship and interwoven cultures.  We built this into our logo because we believe in the power of community and our inter-connectedness as human beings. Despite our differences, great things can happen when we gather around a cup of coffee.
